I spent the past two weeks in Park City, Utah for a total of four competitions. Competing in the Visa Freestyle International at Deer Valley, with a crowd pushing a few thousand, was amazing! Competing with the best in the world, literally, was such a great experience for me. After the DV World Cup we rolled right into training for three NorAm competitions at the Utah Olympic Park. With blue skies and lots of sunshine it turned out to be a great event! I finished second two out of three days, a personal best. I also received the highest score I’ve ever gotten on a single jump, a 101, 4 points away from perfect. It is so satisfying to see my years of hard work really pay off! After a quick break at home of catching up on sleep I head to Val St. Come in northern Quebec for the NorAm finals. I’m currently sitting in first for the overall Grand Prix, hopefully with a few good jumps in the northland I will be able to secure the overall Grand Prix title! In the mean time check out what I’ve been doing with Fox CT News over the past few weeks along with a cool POV training video. Lets all hope for some snowfall!
